Enterprise Architect - ServiceNow

Your Job Profile as a Enterprise Architect – ServiceNow

The Enterprise Architect for ServiceNow in the Telecom Domain will be responsible for leading the design, development, and governance of ServiceNow-based solutions within a telecom environment. This role involves translating business needs into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with telecom-specific requirements and standards, such as TM Forum (TMF), and maximizing the effectiveness of ServiceNow modules like Telecom
Service Operations Management (TSOM) and Telecom Service Management (TSM).


Duties and Tasks of Your Particular Role

Architectural Strategy & Design:

  • Define and develop the end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow implementations in the telecom domain.
  • Lead architectural discussions and decisions around ServiceNow modules, especially TSOM, TSM, ITOM (IT Operations Management), and ITSM (IT Service Management), ensuring they align with business goals.
  • Develop a roadmap for ServiceNow implementation, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with the telecom industry’s regulatory and compliance standards.

 Telecom-Specific Architecture:

  • Design architecture frameworks and patterns that ensure integration between
    ServiceNow and telecom operational systems (e.g., OSS/BSS).
  • Collaborate with telecom-specific business units to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration with ServiceNow.
  • Align architecture with Open Digital Architecture (ODA) standards and other relevant telecom frameworks.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the liaison between technical teams, business leaders, and third-party vendors, including ServiceNow and telecom service providers.
  • Communicate the architecture vision to business stakeholders and gather their feedback.
  • Ensure that all proposed solutions align with the business strategy and enterprise architecture principles.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce architecture governance practices to ensure consistency and alignment with industry standards such as TMF, ITIL, and other relevant telecom frameworks.
  • Monitor architecture for compliance with enterprise governance, security, and data privacy policies, including GDPR, ISO standards, etc.

Integration & Transformation:

  • Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other telecom platforms and applications, such as OSS/BSS systems, CRM, ERP, and custom-built telecom applications.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives within the telecom environment, leveraging ServiceNow capabilities to streamline operations and improve service delivery.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with emerging trends in the telecom industry, as well as ServiceNow developments.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, and cost savings using ServiceNow features like AI and machine learning.

Mentoring & Leadership:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, ensuring proper implementation and support of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key ServiceNow partners and vendors.

  • Preferably B. E/ B. Tech

You must have

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in the telecom domain.
  • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow architecture and solution design, including hands-on implementation of TSOM and TSM modules.
  • Proven experience in integrating ServiceNow with telecom systems like OSS,
    BSS, NMS (Network Management Systems), and more.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow platform, particularly in telecom modules like TSOM, TSM, and ITOM.
  • Deep understanding of telecom infrastructure and operations, including network services, OSS/BSS, and telecom-specific business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, TAM) and Open
    Digital Architecture (ODA).

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) [preferred].
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules
    (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, TSM) [preferred].
  • TOGAF or any equivalent enterprise architecture certification [preferred].
  • ITIL v4 certification [desirable].

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and working in a collaborative environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering scalable and sustainable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations for telecom operators.
