Job Description

• Deep understanding of ITAM best practices and processes
• Experience in ITAM solution implementation for end points, server, networking devices discovery, Software and licensing management, License reconciliation and vulnerability management
• Experience in automate asset discovery, identifying system relationships. Experience to work on Application and Service modeling
• Design, Implement and optimize IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, including asset lifecycle management, from procurement to retirement.
• Hands-on experience with one or more ITAM tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM,BMC, Flexera, Solarwinds, or Snow License Manager
• Experience in integration of ITMC, ITAM with Service Now, salesforce or other service management solution
• Good to have knowledge on Service Now, BMC, Salesforce, Ivanti ITSM and CMDB solution
• Understanding of CMDB and the relationship between IT services and underlying infrastructure
• Maintain and update the CMDB with accurate Configuration Item (CI) data. Map relationships between CIs (e.g., servers, applications, databases) to support incident and change management.
• Develop and maintain CMDB reporting, dashboard and metrics to track health, accuracy and completeness of CMDB for ITAM and discovery solutions
• Experience of enterprise software and familiarity with cloud computing systems
• Domain knowledge for IT infrastructure hosted in public, private Cloud, Data center, hybrid cloud
• Good knowledge of Cloud Technologies, networking, application and business concepts
• Demonstrate leadership to collaborate with cross functional teams
• Manage the IT asset portfolio with respect to risk, cost control, governance, compliance, and performance objective
• Understanding or experience in Salesforce platform/Salesforce workflow development is plus
• Experience for asset data extraction, transformation via ETL tools, API for asset consolidation
• Good to have experience in Salesforce, Service now asset management applications
• Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices while configuring ITSM and ITAM modules.
• Oversee, Configure, administer, maintain and customize ITAM solution to optimize business and technical needs
• Oversee third party tools and integration for seamless data flow from ITAM to other applications and vice versa
• Manage IT asset lifecycle from allocation, transition, disposal
• Perform periodic health check to assess ITAM data quality and audit compliance
• Strong troubleshooting skill for ITAM solution
• Collaborate with service owners and internal team to drive continuous improvement
• Operate in a dynamic, fast paced environment to manage customer issues, support and enhancement
• Well organized with a positive attitude to work on customer facing env and communicate with customers, vendors and business partners
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and value of ITAM and its associated process
• Good understanding of software and hardware licensing concepts
• Experience to build workflow to automate software provision
• Good understanding on Discovery Data Normalization, reconciliation process to manage asset foundation data for service management application
• Ensure ongoing management, governance and alignment of CMDB and asset management with organization goals and ITIL practice
• Optimize software license allocation and reduce costs through effective license management.
• Identify and mitigate security risks related to IT assets. Ensure ITAM solution compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Work closely with other IT service manager TOOLS (e.g. Incident, change) to integrate ITAM data to CMDB
• Good understanding of ETL tools to normalize inventory data from SCCM, ServiceNow Discovery, Tivoli Endpoint Manager (TEM), Casper, BMC, ADDM, and other widely used discovery tools.
• Experience of working as vulnerability manager for Detection, Identification and Reporting of Software Vulnerabilities

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
