Your Job Profile as a Senior Director, AVP- Presales
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Pre-Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to lead the entire presales function for the company. You will collaborate closely with our sales and technical teams to drive successful customer engagements and contribute to revenue growth across multiple industry segments, such as, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Retail & CPG, Manufacturing & Hi-Tech, BFSI, and
Energy & Utilities.
Duties and Tasks of Your Particular Role
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the entire presales team.
- Own proposal development & bid management: review RFX documents to understand scope of work and customer needs; collaborate with the sales and technical teams to create detailed proposals (Word, PPT, Excel, Google docs, etc.) and RFP responses that align with client needs and demonstrate technical feasibility; develop win themes/ strategies, and provide leadership for proposals, client meetings and strategic pursuits; support proactive pitches, client workshops and proposal defense.
- Articulate the value proposition of our solutions, focusing on how they address client pain points and deliver quantifiable benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and delivery, to ensure cohesive communication and alignment of goals.
- Develop POV presentation for specific technology or business needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of our technology solutions, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. This includes technology solutions across digital transformation, Cloud, Data, RPA, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Enterprise ADMS/AMS.
- Perform effort estimation using information provided as part of the solicitation documentation, to determine most cost efficient and effective staffing, technology and differentiating approaches.
- Stay current on latest technologies and solutions in Digital Transformation space (AI, Intelligent Automation, Data, Cloud), as well as within the Healthcare/ Life Sciences/ BFSI/ Manufacturing industries. Propose new and innovative solutions to the most complex challenges.
- Develop lifecycle cost comparison models to support decisions.
- Communicate solutions with customers, management, and teaming partners, including presentations, white papers, meetings, and further discussions.
- Assess market level trends as well as capabilities of complementary solutions enabling larger scale solution offerings.
- Develop standardized processes to manage and run the presales activities. This includes activities, such as, asset management, requirement intake, and contracts management.
Education
- MBA.
- Preferably B. E/ B. Tech
Location
You must have
- 15+ years of experience with MBA and bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, etc.).
- Proven experience in a technology pre-sales role in IT Services and consulting organization for various industry segments.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to understand client requirements.
- Ability to manage teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations as required.
- Hands on experience in Microsoft PowerPoint.
