Your Job Profile as a Solution Architect – Databricks

We are looking for accomplished professionals with a history of driving data-driven transformations in large enterprises. As a Solution Architect for Databricks, you will collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) to define and implement the technical vision for our most strategic accounts. Your focus will be to expand the adoption of Databricks’ platform and deepen the integration of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within our customers’ ecosystems.

This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic account management, and value- driven solutioning. You will demonstrate Databricks’ capabilities, develop proofs of concept, and provide expert guidance on applying ML and AI to diverse use cases in industries like high-tech and manufacturing.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

You must have

• Experience: 15+ years in technical architecture or consulting roles, with significant experience managing large, global accounts (>$1M ARR).
• Big Data Engineering: Expertise with tools and technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Data Warehousing ETL: Strong knowledge of SQL, OLTP/OLAP systems, and data pipeline architectures.
• Data Science & Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and techniques like hyperparameter optimization (HPO).
• Data Applications Expertise: Proficiency in building solutions for use cases like logs analysis, threat detection, real-time monitoring, and risk analysis.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, driving stakeholder alignment at all levels.
• Development Skills: Proficiency in languages like Python, Scala, Java, or R, with experience in debugging and software development.
• Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Preferred Skills:

• Certification: Databricks certification is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills to build
  trust and deliver results effectively.
